→ Primo Dorello (Narni, 1872 – Bologna, 1963) è stato medico anatomo-patologo e docente di anatomia presso l’Università di Perugia. Si dedicò per hobby alla fotografia, lasciando una notevole collezione di lastre di vetro realizzate con la tecnica stereoscopica (1.336 positivi e 337 lastre negative). Le immagini testimoniano principalmente il paesaggio e le città umbre nel primo Novecento. Esse costituiscono una preziosa fonte iconografica per documentare le trasformazioni del paesaggio rurale, urbano e umano, con la presenza anche di personaggi e scene di vita quotidiana della prima metà del secolo scorso.
La selezione delle foto esposte a NARNIMMAGINARIA riguarda essenzialmente le città dell’Umbria. Una parte delle fotografie sarà visibile in formato 3D con visore d’epoca e su grande schermo, tramite occhiali anaglifici. Sarà esposta anche la sua fotocamera stereoscopica.
L’esposizione sarà possibile grazie al prezioso contributo dell’Archivio di Stato di Terni.

→ Primo Dorello (Narni, 1872 – Bologna, 1963) was a medical anatomist and professor of anatomy at the University of Perugia. As a hobby, he dedicated himself to photography, leaving behind a remarkable collection of glass plates made using the stereoscopic technique (1,336 positives and 337 negative plates). The images primarily depict the landscape and cities of Umbria in the early 20th century. They represent a valuable iconographic source for documenting the transformations of rural, urban, and human landscapes, featuring characters and scenes of everyday life from the first half of the last century.
The selection of photographs exhibited at NARNIMMAGINARIA mainly focuses on the cities of Umbria. Some of the photographs will be viewable in 3D format with a vintage viewer and on a large screen with anaglyph glasses. His stereoscopic camera will also be on display.
